This Baked Cinnamon French Toast Recipe makes breakfast for a crowd or big family gathering super easy. It’s sure to be a holiday hit and it only takes about 30 minutes to assemble the night before and the smell of bread and cinnamon baking in the oven is sure to wake any sleeping beauty.
12 Slices French Bread
8 Eggs
2 Cups Milk (Whole)
2 Teaspoons Vanilla
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
1 ½ Cups Brown Sugar or Coconut Sugar
¾ C Butter (I use salted)
3 Tablespoons Maple Syrup
1 Cup Chopped Walnuts or Pecans
Mix eggs, Milk, Vanilla and Cinnamon. Grease a 9 X 13 glass baking pan and place bread slices in the pan. Pour egg over top, cover and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight. Remove 30 minutes before baking at 350 for 1 hour. Cream brown sugar, butter and maple syrup. Spread over cooked bread and sprinkle with nuts. You can serve the Bake Cinnamon French Toast plain or add a little maple syrup.
