9:00 – 3:00 PM – On your own exploring Salida and the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, hiking, biking, shopping, 4-wheeling, hot springs, Farmers Market. Tour the Triangle Oasis Farm, reservations required.
3:30 PM – 5:00 PM – Historic Food & Distillery Walking Tour in Downtown Salida
7:30 PM – Dinner – Almond Orange Salad, Marinated Elk Tenderloin, Rosemary Roasted Petite Potatoes, French Apple Tart with Whipped Cream

8:00 AM – Sunday Breakfast – Baked French Toast with Bacon, and Fresh Fruit.

Optional activities to explore the area on your own include hiking, 4-wheeling, biking, fishing, hot springs soak, and scenic drives to view the fall foliage. There are three craft breweries in town, my favorite being Soul Craft, and a couple wineries. The Saturday Farmer’s Market at Alpine Park is open until 1:00 PM.
While the food tour is designed for light activity, be aware that it includes walking at altitude and climbing stairs. If you have mobility issues, you should speak with us to determine if this tour is appropriate for your situation.
All in-house meals will be locally sourced and organic where possible and made from scratch.
Friday night – Charcuterie Board – an assortment of fruit, locally made cheese and cured meats, nuts and olives. Hearty Chicken Spinach Artichoke Soup with freshly baked bread from Little Red Hen Bakery.
Saturday morning Breakfast – Chorizo, Potato, Egg and Cheese Casserole, Toast, Jam, Coffee, Tea, Orange Juice
Saturday afternoon – Historic Food & Distillery Tour includes small plates from 3 restaurants, Cocktail Flight and Distillery Tour.
Saturday evening Dinner – Almond Orange Salad with Pear Vinaigrette Dressing, Marinated Elk Tenderloin with Red Wine Reduction Sauce, Rosemary Roasted Petit Potatoes. French Apple Tart with Whipped Cream.
Sunday breakfast – Baked Cinnamon French Toast, Coffee, Tea, Juice
